Guest star Giacomo Agostini will be reunited with another legend on Saturday July 23rd and Sunday July 24th – George Formby and his TT-winning Shuttleworth Snap, stars of the 1935 comedy classic film ‘No Limit’.
George Formby is played by race fan Graeme Hardy in a tribute act that includes a replica of Formby’s home-made racer – actually a 1926 Model P Triumph underneath the chequered streamlining. And just like George, Graeme strums the ukulele and sings a range of classic songs, including ‘Riding at the TT Races’.
LlanBikeFest co-organiser John Hutchinson said: “Graeme will be performing his brilliant tribute to George Formby both days. And as a passionate road racing fan in real life, he’s looking forward to teaming up with Agostini again, after they met at the Spa circuit in Belgium.”
